DIPLOMA & FOUNDATION STUDIES

Open to post-secondary school applicants with:

  • Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM)

  • IGCSE

  • GCSE

  • GCE-O Level

  • Sijil Vokasional Malaysia (SVM)

  • Sijil Kemahiran Malaysia (SKM Level 3)

  • Sijil Kolej Komuniti (SKK Level 3)

  • Certificate (Level 3)

Exclusively offered through Direct Channel

Aside from UPU, few Public Universities are now open direct entry routes through a special channel aimed at providing other alternatives, especially for Malaysian students with SPM and other equivalent qualifications.

The Direct Entry is a great optional route and a worthwhile investment as many students have already enjoyed the opportunity to pursue their dream programme with a brighter career prospects.

  • ​Less Competition
    Greater chances of enrolment for programme of your choices as you do not have to compete for the programme and university through UPU.
     

  • No "Merit" Assessment for Admission
    Unlike UPU, the application through the Direct Channel does not require the consideration of applicant's merit points for admission.
     

  • Pursuing Your Preferred Programme
    Applicants do not have to compete for the programme and university of their choice as is the case at UPU. This is because there are many students who obtain high grades in SPM will apply for programmes at UPU Online, especially in popular fields such as Medicine, Law, Engineering and others.
     

  • Direct Offer from the University
    Applicants will receive an offer directly from the university upon fulfilling admission requirements

  • Enjoy same great facilities
    Students will follow the same programme and enjoy all facilities as other students who receive an offer through UPU.
     

  • Academic Pathway Opportunities
    Students who have successfully completed their studies will have the opportunity to continue directly to the university's Mainstream Bachelor's Degree programme without going through a merit competition at UPU Online (with subsidized fees accept for IIUM Law Degree).

UNIVERSITI MALAYSIA PAHANG AL-SULTAN ABDULLAH

UMPSA Foundation programme is only available through Direct Channel and not offered through UPU Online. The UMPSA Foundation and Diploma programmes open up the pathway to dual degree programmes with foreign universities in Germany, China and Kazakhstan.

Qualification Review

Before we proceed with the programme application, we will check your eligibility to ensure that you meet the minimum entry requirements set for the chosen programme. For applicants who do not meet the entry requirements of the preferred programme, we will recommend other programmes that match your qualifications. Applicants must complete the Pre-Assessment Form with correct information and upload the relevant examination results.
